If you are looking for a green tea supplement, then this product might have showed up in your Google search or within your Amazon search.
But can this drop deliver results? We analyzed this product and found some factors that makes this drop questionable.
Our Tip: Instead of using this drop, consider a proven brand – CLICK HERE
Liquid Green Tea is a product of Benevolent Nourishment LLC. the same company that markets Chlorophyll Drops.
This drop claims to be an energy booster though the formula has little caffeine in it, making this claim doubtful.
Liquid Green Tea is also marketed as a metabolism booster though I believe that this drop is much more focused on its antioxidants.
Amazon offer their own guarantee for this brand. But if you purchase directly from Benevolent website, you are unlikely to get any refund benefits.
Liquid Green Tea Ingredients
The formula has 95mg of polyphenols and 50mg of EGCG, with 10mg per serving of stevia leaf extract. The other inactive ingredients are deionized water, vegetable glycerin, organic honey and luo han guo fruit.
As you noticed, there is no caffeine content in its formula though Benevolent Nourishment claims that it does have little amounts of caffeine.
This is the reason why Liquid Green Tea is much more of an antioxidant supplement and not a weight loss drop.
So Can Liquid Green Tea Help You Lose Weight?
Well, judging from its formula, a caffeine-less green tea extract is like impossible to trigger significant weight loss. All it offer is high amounts of polyphenols and EGCG.
So what does the experts are saying about green tea’s weight loss properties? Lets look further into it shall we!
Green Tea for Weight Loss
Green tea is one of the most popular herbal teas in the market that can give tons of health benefits. Sourced from camelia sinensis plant, this herbal tea is much known for its fat burning assets.
Some of its health benefits include anti-cancer, treatment of high cholesterol, liver diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, warts, colds, flu, diabetes, while it also helps prevent Parkinson’s disease and cognitive decline.
The two main active components of green tea are caffeine and polyphenols (antioxidant catechins).
According to an NCBI research on 49 green tea studies, catechins helped reduce body weight and maintained body weight for the most period of weight loss.
There is small inhibition effects though as the weight loss goal wasn’t reached. But they concluded that the mixture of catechins and caffeine have a small positive effects on weight loss and maintenance.
The inhibition effects are believed to be caused by high caffeine content as they can influence the effect of catechins.
There are other studies that contradicts this research suggesting that caffeine plays the key role in green tea’s fat burning properties.
So Can Liquid Green Tea Deliver Results?
While this drop does have little to no caffeine content which is similar to the NCBI research I mentioned above, it still doesn’t mean that Liquid Green Tea is a plausible diet drops for you.
Why? Because there is no concrete evidence that catechins alone can trigger significant weight loss. The Amazon page of this drop also has limited customer testimonials that could have supported its claims.
If this brand contains enough caffeine and had some additional ingredients such as green coffee bean, guarana or citrus aurantium, then Liquid Green Tea might be a good supplement prospect.
Is it Safe?
With no caffeine and additional ingredient support, this diet drop is likely safe for you and other dieters alike.
The number one cause of side effects for most slimming products is stimulant agent such as caffeine. Without this agent, you can almost guarantee that this brand is a side effect-free drop.
Even though safe, consult your doctor first before you take Liquid Green Tea.
Directions of Use
According to its label, you simply place 30 drops in 6 ounces of cold or hot water, 1 to 3 times per day. No other instructions are published online.
We can’t completely suggest this drop for your weight loss program. It offers a higher probability of inefficacy so it is much more wiser if you use other brands that are much more reputable and proven for weight loss.
